Christian Education
Children’s Ministry
-
Sunday School is offered each week during the church service (at 10:00am) and is designed for kids ages 1-11.
We are currently using the 252 Kids curriculum from Orange—a values-based program that introduces a key virtue and memory verse each month, helping kids grow in faith and character.
- Youth Group – Our Youth Group is a collaborative effort with other local churches, engaging students in grades 5–12 in games, lessons, activities, and trips. We meet twice a month and offer a fun, welcoming space for kids to build friendships and grow in their faith.
Bible Study
- Bible Study – Join us for Bible Study every Thursday at 3:00 PM in Baily Hall. This is a time to dive deeper into God’s Word, ask questions, and reflect on how Scripture shapes and influences our daily lives.
All are welcome—you don’t need to be a church member to attend!
- Adventures in Reading – You are never too young or too old to read!
Participants in Adventures in Reading meet at Bailey Hall at scheduled times from September through May for a potluck lunch and book discussion. Each person tells about a book that she has read and whether she would recommend that book. The list consists of 4 categories: Spiritual, Nonfiction, Fiction, and Banned Books.
We suggest that participants read at least one book from each group.
A list of books that have been read is due by May 15, along with recommended books for the following year. A celebration lunch is planned for July. Contact Phyllis Warren if you are interested in joining..
