Welcome to the Federated Church

of East Arlington

Welcome to The Federated Church of East Arlington. We are a community of people who have been called to follow Christ Jesus of Nazareth. When members of the local United Methodist church (founded in 1859) and Congregational church (founded in 1843) voted to join together in 1946, they formed one church. Thus, they became “federated.”
Today, the church is home to people from many different denominational backgrounds. We worship together and support each other and the local community through missions, outreach, food services, education, health programs and fellowship in many forms. We acknowledge that faith has a personal inner dimension and a communal outward expression. Our church community seeks to embody Christ’s ministry. We seek God together so that the power of the Holy Spirit can live in and among us.
We welcome you join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. in person or online. You are also welcome to attend other programs or stop by the church office to say hello.
